Should I Respond To A Low Offer On My Campbell CA Home?

If the offer is the only one you have received on your house in Campbell CA, you should definitely respond to the low offer with a counter offer.  Your real estate agent can help you with the amount to counter at.  Some buyers like to test the seller to see how low they will go.  It does not hurt to counter the buyer back with a reasonable price.  If the buyer is stuck on his original low offer, then you can just move on and wait for a more reasonable buyer.

If the buyer counters with a price somewhere between his/her original offer and your counter offer, you could counter again if your real estate agent recommends it.

If you do nothing and do not respond to the original offer, you may never know whether or not the buyer was willing to go up in price and meet you part or half way.  The key is to keep the negotiations going until you reach an agreement or until the deal is dead.  The goal is to sell your Campbell CA house, right?
